Leave None Behind is a single-player game which utilizes real-time switching between three mechanically unique characters. These unlikely allies must set aside their inherent rivalries and work together in order to escape their captivity. You must overcome puzzling obstacles in a 2D platform environment in order to achieve immediate and distant goals while adventuring through a surreal environment.
Leave None Behind tells the story of three AWOL soldiers (Willhelm, a German engineer; Nikolai, a Ukrainian hulk; and Jack, an agile marine) during the last offensive toward Berlin in WW2. Separated from their respective armies, they are taken by a mysterious German man under the pretence of offered security in the war-torn country. Held captive in a small shed, they make their way down through the connected sewer to discover a gargantuan underground factory and begin to question why they are there. Through exploration, the three men break down barriers and learn to work as one as they begin to discover there is more to their captivity than it first seems.Paralleling the passage of our three heroes is the tale of the mysterious man as he watches from afar. Assessing, sometimes even aiding the three as he subjects them to ruthless peril.
