The kids are in BIG TROUBLE for kicking a football through their dad's office window. But instead of sitting in their rooms, bored, they decide to sneak out the back window and explore the forest behind their house. And that's where their very strange adventure begins. This is a really challenging arcade platformer with a 16-bit visual style, somewhat reminiscent of Yoshi's Island. This beta version of the game has all the areas, but a few bugs and missing features. It also features music by the band Piece (freakpiece.bandcamp.com) that I found particularly suitable. Enjoy, comment, and critique. This is my first full-length game.

First of all, I've noticed when people play this game that the Game Over screen was the biggest place to quit, so I decided to remove the life system from the game entirely. Why frustrate people? This is a challenging game and I want people to WANT to finish it.

So say goodbye to this beauty:
Game over sprite, gone forever

After lives were removed, the coins, spades and diamonds no longer had a purpose. So I added a "store" where the player (you!?) can purchase useful items from various mysterious characters in long robes.

Here are some other updated things:

Tons of little bug fixes and polishings. This game is really shaping up!
