The year is 1991, and, as Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong is gradually cleared for demolition, the Triads have been desperately hanging on. Now, someone calling himself the "Gem-Legged Man" is offering the police evidence that will bust the Triad gangs wide open. Unfortunately, he is somewhere deep in the heart of Kowloon Walled City.

Your job, as a police officer, is to venture into the city, find the Gem-Legged Man, and safely recover him and his evidence. However, the Walled City is a dangerous place for a cop to be seen, so this is an undercover operation. No uniform... no badge... no gun! As far as anybody knows, you're just another poor resident of Kowloon Walled City.

Kowloon Walled City Adventure is the first of a next-generation of text adventure games that takes the hugely popular style of text adventure games (sometimes known as interactive fiction) from the 1980s and gives them a 21st Century twist for a new generation of mobile devices. Kowloon Walled City Adventure moves away from the old "VERB NOUN" command entry that dates from the 1970s, and instead uses touch friendly command and menu systems.
