Kingdom of 12 Doors: August

I've been calling Kingdom of 12 doors an American style light RPG minced with a Japanese style adventure game, but in all honesty I enjoy both elder scrolls and zelda: and Kingdom of 12 Doors is somewhere in-between.

The open world is currently working great, but I still need to finish the first big map(The Dunes) to evaluate memory consumption and download size.

On a side note, we are submitting proposals with the corporations to try and secure funding for a more advanced version of the game to target a platform beyond mobile computers. We don't know wether or not we will receive corporate funding but if we do, our first choice of target platform would be WiiU(They need the games) provided Nintendo accepts our registration.

To organize all the paperwork, which is quite a lot more work than I anticipated, we've temporarily stopped development. We should however be back in development by August 16th.

Now that we've wrapped up the Black Knight we're almost ready to move forward into designing the actual world that is the Kingdom of 12 Doors.

This game has some really cool elements great concept! I really like the mushroom trees and the fantasy world looks great. The mean rat like characters could do with a bit more colour range I would also try and bulk them up a bit make them more menacing, I like that they just look like eyes and teeth in the shadow. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback Phil. We're working on a presentation to try and win over the corporations so we can create an additional, more advanced version of the game for a platform beyond mobile. The design of the rat-like enemies have been plaguing us since the beginning.

Great stuff! shaping up into an exciting presentation. I spent months playing around with the comic story line that plagued me from the beginning on Dead on Sight, always tweaking composition and the like. I then decided to outsource the final illustrations to a friend concept artist who was able to do an amazing job in a couple of weeks. It was money well spent and saved a lot of my own time to concentrate on other areas.

We won't get more than one illustration for now, I think the concepts(not done by me) are quite good though... Marketing materials and final graphics won't start getting produced until November/December - oh and I completely agree that spending money on specialists improves the chances of a quality product.
