King Arthur II is a Role-playing Wargame, or, in other words, a unique blend of RPGs and strategy games. The gameplay on the Campaign Map is turn-based and the battles are huge real-time assaults, where you can focus on choosing the right tactics in the heat of the battle.
Epic Fail in Service & Support. Developer leaves Game broken and without a proper Patch / Fix. This Game is not Optimized and will even on modern Systems run like crap.
I will never buy from this Developer again. Shame on You!
I own It on Steam. The game has superb graphics (better than my computer can handle actually) it has a great mix of RPG and TBS, lots of depth, interesting story, great sounds. Unfortunately, you must always be on the look out for game breaking bugs. For the love of God I can't understand how they can release a game in this state. It will make buyers angry, really angry and ruin the franchise (which is probably now dead) and risk making the development company go belly up (that hasn't happened, they seem to have scored big with a generic action RPG). Btw the game also has a DLC witch oddly has more gaming breaking bugs (basically adding insult to injury). If you can get it on a sale (like I did) I think it's worth the money though, but buyers beware. Personally I got it out of respect for King Arthur I (which had it share of bugs but compared to this it was bug free).
I purchased this game on steam with the hope of playing a new and interesting realm to strategy and by god did that crash and burn, I couldnt run it to go at anymore than 30 fps so it chugged along slowly.
the units in the game are boring to-boot they upgrade to units that the enemy could probably of had at the start of the game, and the picts are just a really big annoyence.
certain aspects are cool like when you find a labrynth or a chest and you can interact with the stuff but but its all very lack-luster when the rest of the game runs like crap and the optimization is terrible not to mention the combat has next to no STRATEGY TO IT! when I puschased it for 30£ I thought it was going to be great....never went back to it, dont buy it you will just be throwing your money DOWN THE DRAIN! they havnt ever brought out a patch to help with the poor optimization because when they brought this out it was just as simple as they dumped the whole game and left it to the gamers to see if they could find a solution.
all in all poor development and the final product is something that you would deliberatly brake to get a refund, appauling attempt at a strategy cash in. DONT BUY THIS GAME!
Patch the game for better stability so more people can get past the main menu, then I will come back and change the rating.
