A free-roaming squad based RPG. Focusing on open-ended gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a mercenary, a business owner, a doctor, a bandit... the list goes on. Aid or oppose the various factions in the world while striving for the strength and wealth necessary to simply survive in the harsh desert. Purchase and upgrade your own buildings to use as safe fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start up a business. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors. Carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive.
looks cool
Looks more like walls for a Dust Bandit camp. But okay.
exactly. level 1.
(buried)
Dumbarse.
Well I'm sorry, but so far we make walls out of STONE not of scrap metal. Just making a comparison between the spiky scrap helmets that some Dust Bandits have and the gatehouse. No need to be a **** about it.
his response may have had something to do with the way you worded it. but okay.
Your post wasn't a comparison, at all.
this is great man, love it.
Dont think walls with spikes makes you evil, rembember when i was a lad broken glass placed on top of walls to stop trespassers. only the law changed due to health and safety put the stop to it.
That ought to keep those rabble out.
Walls look great, are they destructible?
If i am not wrong pretty much everything at the moment is, so i guess everything would be, but i hope they are with the right weaponry, not having sword breaking down rocks... oh Stonghold..
I love the walls!
Approve!
I hope you add this in soon! and I hope you can build level 1 even when you have researched level 2! hehe :D love the spike look! makes it look like nothing really fits and it was rag-tag smashed together ^_^ major win on points.

This game keeps getting better and better. It really is an original comcept and very addictive !!
Buy it you'll like it !
I love everyone is talking about the gates, yet first thing I noticed was that the guy in the concept drawing here, is holding a gun. A gun. Is this just a placehold because the artist felt like it, or could we be looking at muskets and matchlocks? I would love it if so.
Might be an harpoon gun, or might not be a gun, it seems like a gun to me too, but looking closely the tip seems kinda "big" and somewhat sharp, might be indeed a harpoon gun, or a weird sword o.O.
Thats just the artist adding it on his own, for a sense of scale.

Looks like a Bullpup G36C with a huge bayonet, or perhaps one of the "magazines" is used to store compressed gas to fire a harpoon.
My advice? Harpoon.
