Keen is a turn-based puzzle game for PC and consoles. Guide Kim, a grumpy little girl raised by her grandmother on a journey to stop an evil corporation from destroying her village. Overall I like the Slash and Stomp attacks. I think they work well and offer a lot of design space. I think the stomp attack could have been taught slightly more effectively in the first level, perhaps by explaining it with text earlier and having enemy test dummies that have 2 health to actually see the effect of doing 1 stomp damage, but I learned it quick enough.

I'm unclear why there seems to be knockback with the stomp attack if there are enemies around those stomped. Perhaps there is a design reason I'm unaware of, but it didn't match my expectations of there being no knockback. The knockback seems to be unnecessary, and makes it difficult to keep track of enemy movements. I can't tell, but I don't think this is consistent either. Here is a screenshot right after knockback occurred:

Right before the screenshot was taken there was an enemy one space above me, and the second enemy one space above and one space to the left. I moved up, dealing 1 damage with a stomp to the enemy above me, and the other enemy was pushed back one space to the left of its starting position.
