Kaiser Earth is now free! I can't commit at the moment to release new updates to KE, and haven't for a while now, so have decided to set the price to 0 for now.

Hi!
I've decided to release Kaiser Earth for free now (actually did so a little while ago). I don't have the free time/drive at the moment to release updates to KE and not sure when the next would be, if at all. So thought it was time to just let as many people play it by not charging for it.

Maybe can get back to working on it at sometime, would like to, but due to the scale (large for me!) not sure if it will happen. I was happy to release the game I wanted to, though maybe was a bit ambitious in some aspects in regards to what I could realistically make work really well. But I think it's cool in a lot of ways, maybe you will too [:

Can I ask what price you had been charging? If you go back to updating it again would you charge the same price as before? Just interested on how other people think about this stuff. Thanks!

Hi, it was $5/£3.50 .I think I would charge that again if I did get back to updating it properly-- it would need to be a pretty big content-adding update if I did, not just fixes/balance etc. (though going from paid to free to paid again I can see how that might make people wary of paying).

I paid for Kaiser Earth and I don't begrudge you at all. Happy to see the game shared with other people. It is a good game with the added bonus of two modes that play very different.
