A novel platformer that pits Cid, a humble jumping spider of the Phiddipus audax species, against a laboratory full of genetically and cybernetically enhanced bugs. Armed with your hydraulic legs, your silk dragline, and your trusty venomous fangs, you must jump, swing, and eat your way past your own arachnid brethren and other multi-legged monstrosities, all courtesy of Araknotek, Inc. The game will feature tight physics and an incredibly intuitive, minimalistic control scheme optimized for touchscreen devices (and mouse, if that's your thing).
Salty is a lumbering monstrosity (as far as jumping spiders go) of the Hyllus diardi species. Always lurking in the shadows, watching the world through his deceptively happy-looking mask, he is malevolence personified. With lots of nasty cybernetic tricks up his sleeve, he is nevertheless jealous of Cid's evoserum enhancement, and is determined to figure out a way to extract the serum from Cid so he can replicate it.
Squishing seems like a decent method of extraction.
