Island Hopping is a 3d retro-arcade style platformer originally developed by one of our team members for the Ludum Dare 48-hour competition. The objective is simple: don't hit the water. The player will attempt to navigate through an ever faster path of island that vary in size, shape, and point value. When they inevitably hit the water, your distance and score (among other statistics) are sent to a high score leaderboard.
This game has taken a ton of hours from each day in my life, and i dont regret it, its great ! i kept on retrying to break a high score for hours, and i keep on failing, but its so addicting you will keep on trying.
A great game to play for 5mins while your waiting for something to do! Very addictive!
It's a good game, really casual, really fun. I gave it a nine simply because of the lack of variety in terms of music, no mouse use on main menu.
Overall a good game, and should be tried by anyone... cuz its free!
Very simple yet addicting game with graphics that suit the game perfectly, I do find the lack of mouse support in the menus a bit annoying though. Other than that it is a great game.
Amusing little game which kept me entertained for a bit trying to beat my highscores.
