What would you do for freedom? In Iron Grip: Warlord, the nomadic civilization of Atelia is being swallowed by the massive Confederation. It's a hopeless and tiresome battle; for every enemy Confederate that falls, five more takes their place. Outnumbered and forced to retreat into the heart of cities, a full-out urban warfare has begun that the Atelians will surely lose. As the vestiges of your world crumble and your morale sinks, the only hope for the future is you and your fellow warlords. This is your last stand. This is your freedom. This is your game.

Three new screenshots, announcement about how awkward we were on Mod Cast, and the official beta date Monique was forced into giving.

Big thanks to everyone who listened to us on the Mod Cast. Even though it was laggy and at times full of awkward laughter, we had a great time and appreciate the messages we've been getting from you ModDB users.

Beta Applications

So on Mod Cast I got tricked into giving a "date" for when we'd be taking your applications for beta.I was put on the spot and, man, I really hate making promises, but here goes nothing so get out your pen and mark your calendar! September 22nd is when we will be taking them.

Screenshots

Here's the reason why you're really reading this: you want screenshots. I can give them to you, too, so enjoy! More by Friday.

No, right now there is not a Linux client. We are still on the fence if release will have one, but there's currently no Linux or OSX support in our beta.

You really should, as the windows market is saturated with fps games (with better graphics too) while the Linux market (albeit admittibly much smaller) would actually highly welcome a cool new game.

Really cool would be a Pandora (www.openpandora.org) port too, once it is released (runs Linux too).
