A quick news post today for ModDB, but even in brevity, this news is some of our best yet!
Some of our small team of developers (Vincent van Geel, Ryan Buhr, and Eric Flynn) decided to spend last week getting over their stage fright by busting out some drinks and grabbing their microphones to start an ISOTX developer blog. Called The Flagship, this developer blog loftily aims to explain Marauders in a new fashion - a less boring one, perhaps - via video! While their voices tell the story of Iron Grip: Marauders' inception, the images help to tell more of the story. Concept artwork, high-resolution work, and even screenshots play throughout Episode #1 of The Flagship. Most of this content has never before been seen, stored in the dusty vaults over here at ISOTX, so it's a real pleasure to let it out in the public.
I've rambled enough, you say?
Onward, to Episode #1 of The Flagship!

Feel free to let us know how we could improve future video blogs, or just say you watched! We're hoping people like this direction of news sharing. We'll still be doing epicly long news posts, full of screenshots and goodies, but this is another way for you to get to know the people behind the name - even the janitor, Eric Flynn!
You can also help spread the word, via our YouTube channel or by digging this video on Digg.
This sounds just to awesome! The whole id Sounds realy good I'll be tracking this.
podcasts! That's a cool idea!
Can you add in it more stuff about how indie development works? I mean the inner workings of indie companies :)
Hopefully it's real-time.
For the bases, are we looking at a Heroes of Might and Magic style construction system? Ie; one building per 'turn', or a relative amount of turns for each piece of construction, and you don't control the placement of the buildings, or will we be looking at more of a heavily interactive placement as seen in games like Battlezone 2/C&C Renegade/etc?
THAT LOOKS AWESOME, I revoke my previous judgments :D
Sounding very cool :) definitely going to continue watching the game.
