Well the HL2 mod was free and had both FPS or RTS gameplay depending on which side you were on. Too bad they aren't developing it anymore.
This is just another great branch to the Iron Grip universe. Man My favorite Indie group And my favorite web engine in one place, Pants has been more than jizzed.
In my opinion i think you guys kinda ruined this game. I personally liked the idea off it being the FPS/RTS mix and it had decent graphics. Now it just looks like a pretty generic RTS 2d game.
Still atleast your trying something different just not making the game twice but i personally don't like the new changes.

My disappointment is that its an online only "web game" (which partly explains the lower quality graphics." But I agree, they should have done something more with the Iron Grip mod that they had made for HL2.
I love Iron Grip, but like everyone says, it's just a generic RTS now.
Why can't you guys just work on Iron Grip The Oppression? I loved the RTS vs FPS style.
Still, I'm a sucker for steampunk, going to try this out.
Some of the graphics are looking really good and slick as usual, but some of the things in that trailer look more HoN/Lol/WC3bent which looks quite out of place compared to the tanks and other more classical ISOTX looking features.

I agree with the comments above.. nothing in this really interests me.. The RTS/FPS game (I think IG:Warlords) was so much fun when I tried the demo, but this is just another generic RTS from the looks of it.
Wow, it's looking very very good, I really hope and believe that this will be a breakthrough you were waiting for.

Well, if you'd bothered to read, as well as look, you'd know that it, well, isn't even an RTS. It's turn-based strategy. If you didn't even read the second sentence in the description, it worries me how much else you skipped over which could easily lead to your negative opinions.
First try reading the information available, then give it a chance. Maybe actually try playing it. But at the very least read before judging.
Wow, after IG: Warlord this is a huge letdown. It looks like an out-of-date RTS game now. Mixing FPS and RTS in IG: Warlord was pure genious but going from that to a turn-based strategy game is really sad.
I really like steampunk, and I LOVE IG: Warlord, but I definately won't be playing this game.
I love the steampunk universe of Iron Grip, it would be cool with an isometric rpg based out of it.
I am a bit worried about the quality level of the people who hang out around here.
RTS? sweet loving hesus, this is a turn based strategy game, and a fine looking one for that matter.
I bet if they were releasing warlords2 u guys wud b like the same old generic gameplay and be just as ****** as most of u guys are now .

Not to mention this is a BROWSER game, and not a downloaded game, nice and light weight. Really good looking for a Browser based game. I don't know what some people are saying but this is a master piece.

Not really liking this. Should have stuck with the FPS/RTS. O well wish you guys luck.
I won't play it, but it looks cool compared to most browser games.
