You live on a big floating island in the air. When on your way home from an errand to gather some mushrooms just outside the village, you see that the evil mole woman has ripped apart a most of the beautiful island and all that is left is is just a few houses. You get tasked with exploring the world and finding a way to get your town back from the mole woman's grasp and save your beloved island. To your help you, a relative gives you a pair of claw mittens which have been passed down in your family for generations. The mittens gives you the power of a mole.
The gameplay consist of mainly three things: navigating the world, solving puzzles and slaying enemies. Navigating the world will be important as hand holding will be kept to a minimum with guidance for the player being rare. Slaying enemies will be the main focus and challenge for the player, making them feel empowered and giving them constant adrenaline rushes.
