Invaders: Corruption is a fully procedurally generated arena shooter. That means, after entering a seed-key, every enemy, the appearance of your ship, the arena itself, the gameplay and so forth - will be based on whatever key you entered. Different key, different looking and behaving game. Of course, you can share cool keys with your friends online. Design: The game mixes retro stylings and sounds with todays technology & understanding of arcade action. Glowing pixelated sprites meet today's graphics capabilities. Online HI-Scores and leader-board are available. Compare against your friends and the world's top invader hunters.

Nice, but what does it mean for you?

In short; its means that smaller game-play complaints have been addressed, lots of technical improvements have been added. There are better effects, more enemies, high-definition widescreen support, better online and many other new features.

Aw, I liked the insane near miss but oh well, the rest of the change log still good.

Yeah, I kind of liked it, too. That's why it "survived" for so long even though I knew it was kind of broken. But people started exploiting it and bending the game in ways that really shouldn't happen. So I had to clamp it down a bit.
