It's a sequel of Invader Attack, but much better in every possible way. I paid particular attention to the graphics. They're fully 3D and polished. Visual effects, behaviors, AI, physics and overall gameplay experience should interest even the most core shmup fans.

I finished entire first area of the game, fixing all the bugs reported by the testers. This also means that the boss guarding the passage to the next area is finished as well.

This boss is the easiest one and was deliberately made easier to defeat for the sake of making this video. In the release version, although this boss will be the easiest to defeat, will actually be much more responsive to your actions and harder to outsmart.

Gameplay video recording you can watch below is showing the current look and feel of the boss level, but might slightly be changed for the release in terms of graphic effects.

The game version is now v0.8 and the development is progressing well, I will most likely meet my deadline, which is September 2014. The game will become publicly available for the download and purchase.

Here's entire list of the bugs fixed so far and I want to thank all the testers that helped a lot:

v0.8 Major Update (April, 5th 2014):
- Fixed game save after first level. Sometimes the game would not save the game if player passed the first level.
- Fixed hiscore submission after first level. Player's hiscore would not get submitted if the player lost final life while the game was being saved.
- All of the remaining standard types of enemies are implemented.
- First 10 levels looks and behaviors are final.
- First area boss implemented, AI is not fully finished.
- Controls freeze after achievements are shown are now fixed.

v0.7.2 Major Update
- Fixed entry of empty profile/hiscore name. It was possible to enter empty name, so it would submit nothing as the name in the hiscore.
- Fixed wrong profile name submitted into hiscore table. If you had 2 or more profiles, game would submit the first one in the list, instead of selected one.
- Fixed issue with having 2 different profiles with different progress / save game state. Picking the second one would result in using first profile after game over. (IMPORTANT - if you're testing the game, please delete profiles.dat file from game folder if the installation doesn't overwrite it, which is by default located in: "C:\Program Files\Invader Attack 2\" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Invader Attack 2\InvaderAttack2.exe" in case you're using a x64 Windows, before running this new version, because the data saved after profile was created is changed and the new version won't recognize it, might even crash).
- Fixed fade out, it was not fading out completely, player could still see what was there before and not the fully black screen.
= Implemented collision bonus that brings 1000 points. If a collision was a result of player's deliberate or accidental action, one enemy destroying the other, the bonus is added to the score.
- Implemented Tough Guy, Invincible and Evil Mastermind achievements.
- Shield power-up finished.
- Power laser power-up implemented.
- 5 more different types of enemies implemented.

v0.7.1 Major Update
- Invaders and debris would fall too fast after being destroyed, on fast computers, should now be equal for everyone.

v0.7 Major Update
- Initial release for testing having all known functionality bugs fixed.
- 4 achievements implemented (No Scratch, Quick Trigger, Collector and Gambler).
- 3 levels implemented with several different types of enemies.
- Most of the power-ups implemented.
- Hiscore submission implemented.
- Keyboard and gamepad/joypad processing implemented.
- Visual effects, sounds and first music completed.
