My game is Ink World. It is a 2D platformer Flash game. The theme is about ink blots and the human psyche. It's a path about him finding himself where killing enemies will produce thought bubbles.
Originally, I had ten bosses planned out. I was basing it off the Ten Brothers from the Chinese folklore. But as I was trying to give them each different techniques and powers. It was really difficult.
10 bosses * 4 powers = 40 techs.
But nonetheless, I completed it. The ball busting was the level design.
In the beginning, I was thinking about 5 levels for each stage, so 50.
I was about 2/3 way when I said enough is enough. I had more than enough material anyway.
So I decided stop designing levels and I went on to compress the powers. It made my compact bosses more unique in the end anyway. So no more work and looks awesome. Mission accomplished.
My thought process as I was trying to make Ink World (Name Subject To Change).
Um...Where is this available?
Oh sorry. I forgot to mention.

Hi guys,
It's been a while. The game flopped as I wasn't able to find a sponsor cause it wasn't fun enough. So I decided to keep it on hold as I draft up new game mechanics to add to it.
I've decided to release it today!
There's no point in me shelving this, hoping it will somehow magically get better, only to get a 2 star rating.
It's been a while since I posted. But I have completed my game and are getting the final feedbacks to my game before publish it to get a sponsor!
I plan to have 3 styles of narration, 4 if I include the cutscenes. Lol.
Thought bubble, breadcrumb messages and the soon to be added shadow puppets.
Also all the sign rock messages has been added to the first stage. Scripting the rest as I speak.
I don't know if I mention this before, but the demo only goes up to the first boss. But the rest of the stages and bosses has already been created and completed.
FYI, there are four more bosses.
At the moment, I'm working on the breadcrumb messages.
Text in demo skips too fast - cannot read, specially if English is not your native
Do you mean in the intro screen?
