I like the look of it, though perhaps it looks a bit sterile white while the chair in the left is more earthy, slightly dirtier. Perhaps it would be better if that were throughout the room.

It looks like a large bit is untextured, hence it all being the same flat grey color.

Looks fine to me. This place isn't old or anything, it has a Steam chat open, right? So it can't be abandoned or whatever, so it shouldn't look like it's a gazillion years old.

i like it! also the wall. maybe one or two decals could help and do wonders here - but i would keep the main structure/look/texture. think about complaining in real-life that the wall in your room or at university looks waaay to monotonous. ;)
