Infinistate is a hybrid arcade shooter that generates levels procedurally so that each play through is unique. As the player takes control of various scifi vehicles, it combines several gameplay styles including topdown twinstick shooter and 3rd person vehicle combat. You play Kraizen, an exoplanet archeologist who has crash landed onto a hostile alien planet. A ruthless cybernetic race capture and imprison him, intent on making him a lab specimen to study and never let go. After finally escaping his stronghold, he must fight his way through this strange alien world, to finally pilot a craft back home. Along the way, in additon to fighting on foot, he must hack into cryptic computer terminals to take control of the many vehicles found on his travels. Fusing the mechanics of classic arcade shooters with modern rougue-lite elements and puzzle games, it provides an original and exciting arcade experience. It is currently in development and slated for a mid 2019 release on Steam.

Description

A wip for the tunnel shooter sections of my game . There are now several new tunnel geometry types, new fx (contact sparks, player shield, engine afterburners), smoother player movement, better enemy ai. All levels are laid out procedurally as with the top down section. Capture is only 720p/30fps
