Inferno: Alliance Reborn is part of the main Inferno series of games and mods based on the FreeSpace Universe that now make use of the FreeSpace Open engine, developed by the Source Code Project.
Inferno: Nostos is set decades after FreeSpace 2, as the GTVA struggles with the Earth Alliance and the Shivans' returning to threaten our species. Act 1 of this mod has been released in June, 2018.
Inferno: Alliance takes the player seventeen years before FreeSpace 2, in a Sol system effectively cut off from the rest of Terran space.
Two different perspectives on the same universe.

Countless new ship types, and many R1 classics are back and better than ever!
New HUD interfaces, effects, sound, and music!
And of course, big, epic, badass space battles.
Does it require the old Inferno R1 release?
No. This replaces that release.
What happened to X model?
Some assets are being held back for story reasons with more models being released with Act 2. Act 1 includes around 75% of the final modpack for the entire campaign.
How many acts will there be?
Either 3 or 4 depending on how development of the final major models goes. The next release will go up to the end of the EA war.

uhm , this is mod or game ? :D
It is a mod turned standalone.
Keep going,I will watch.
Sorry for the prolonged absence and lack of updates! ShadowGorrath is currently posting news regarding the future PRs.
uhh nice, another campaign to fiddle with ^^
As long as you carry on past the Icanus / Dante fight i'll be happy....
It was the Dante wasn't it? The one with anti fleet cannon?
Wrong mod, Dekker... INFASA is a FS1-ish mod which doesn't feature the famous gigantic warships. ;-)
Oh, I guess you're refering to the SSJ Gigas. Inferno SCP's mod profile has several screenshots showing the new Gigas (whose design is based on the Rakshasa).
I'm looking forward a commercial release of this game. （*_*）
Commercial release? INFASA will be downloadable for free thanks to sites like ModDB and FSMods. :-)
Really glad to see both Inferno Mods are here now. Fs2 rules.
There are three mods, not two... ;-)
