If we reach our backing goal, not only will In The Dark be finished earlier, with more thorough testing, we also should be able to open it up to more platforms, such as Android and iOS!
Looks pretty, and the concept is really interesting, but the price is way to steep for an unfinished game.
We realize that $20 is a little steep for an unreleased indie game, so we just added a $15 option. The $20 also includes bonus content and a credit so the choice is yours!
The concept looks awesome. Not sure I'm liking how the game play flows, but that's just looking at it. In my opinion it needs to be faster, and the jumping should really pay attention to the laws of motion. Other than those few problems looks like a promising game. If I can find some spare cash around I'll give you some money towards development.
Thanks! The jumping is largely physics based, not sure if you watched the second video on the page, but we increased run, jumping, and falling speeds. It still needs some refining, I agree, but its down to fine tuning now.
I didn't really take a look at this game, but when I noticed, that there'll be a Linux version, I instantly pledged 20$ :)
