We don't know much about them but one thing is clear to us now. Spirits were never supposed to walk on this planet as their native abilities allow them to transform entire landscapes by twisting mana itself. As such we did not allow them to cross the border when we tapped their realm. But soon people began to sympathize with them and so they formed pacts with them. They would be limited to only the mana of their partner but in return they were free to walk in our world. Some were grateful and used their incredible strength to assist their new partner. Others sensed the chance to fully overtake their hosts. No matter how we looked at it there was no chance for a compromise.

Preparing to fully wrap up chapter 1 with sidequests and all.
Then *soonTM* might call this a public demo for everyone to check out chapter 0 + chapter 1.
We plan to show off a few more quests and some snippits of dialogue every now and then while working on the next chapter.

In a week we will be putting up a longer entry about chapter 0. There will be some showcase of the characters, a rough summary of the setting - like what you start out as, your first initial quests and some gameplay. We know how many different RPG Maker games there are out there, so we'd like to give a proper idea of why we used certain characters or gameplay elements and how we plan to introduce the player to them.
You'll be able to read the full thing on tumblr as it allows for better posts than twitter - which we've used so far to show a few screenshots and quests.
