Description
IGEO DX is a Sokoban-style puzzler with mechanically simple but challenging gameplay. Push and combine like-shapes to solve increasingly complex spatial and logic puzzles. The goal is simple: clear the board. To remove shapes from the board players will have to push two of the same shape together. Combining shapes can have different effects and combining unlike shapes results in a game over.
History
IGEO DX is the successor to IGEO, a casual but challenging puzzle game for Windows and Mac. IGEO was originally built in under 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 35 game jam.
The game is heavily inspired by PEGS, a retro game for TI-84 calculators developed by Detached Solutions. We always enjoyed playing the game growing up and wanted to take its simple, yet challenging mechanics into the third dimension and see what sort of cool additions we could make to it. The result of that, after years of tweaking and going back and forth - is IGEO DX.
Features
- Challenging spatial and logic puzzles
- Arcade level progression
- Build your own levels
