Icarus is a 2D ambient platformer game for Windows featuring unique game mechanics, engaging atmosphere, and a living world. Take the role of a lowly beggar, Icarus, as he finds himself put in a position of great power and responsibility. Choices are made through gameplay, not cumbersome dialogue trees, and will ripple throughout your dynamic story. It's a retro quest with modern twists.
These are a bunch of pictures taken around the time that I made the teaser video. It's a nice collection of moments during various parts of the game and shows the essential Icarus "vibe". Check out the teaser video for shots of some more exotic locations in the story arc.
Coincidentally, the pictures with water all make it look like the enemies walk on water. Weird. I assure you that enemies are mortal like you and I and are simply jumping out of the water all at the same time.
