Pose! Hoy! Score!
Hoy is a Kinect game for Windows. Pose, shout "hoy!" to validate it, and keep the pace for one minute.

Actually in closed beta, here are the planned updates before public release :

  • More poses
  • Online score database
  • Make Kinect to take live action photos
  • Update to retail Kinect for Windows (waiting for release)
  • New song
  • Official webpage with online scoreboards
  • Enhanced graphics and menus

Hi!

Let me present you Hoy, a Kinect game for Windows.

The game has been designed to be very simple, yet challenging and entertaining. The goal is to hold the different poses on screen, and to validate them by shouting "hoy!". You have one minute to do as many pose as possible and beat the score.

I am planning to release it for free and open source it.

The game will propose online scoreboards, social features such as live action photo posting, score tweetting, etc.

Right now, it is in closed beta (and not recruiting). I am waiting for the commercial release of Kinect for Windows, as the drivers are actually still in beta and requires the Kinect SDK Beta 2. I also hope that one day, Microsoft will allow Kinect games on the XBLIG service.
