This game is a 2D Platformer based on the great myth of Hercules, the 12 labours he had to do to free himself from his cousin.

History

The game is an ETIC project, so basically I'm learning how to develop video games.

Hercules: The 12 Labours was initially a game about time, but the difficulty of the concept made me change, therefore, I choose to speak about the myth of Hercules.

Hercules: The 12 Labours is a 2D Platformer where the objective is to defeat or get the beasts that your cousin demands you to pick, but for this Demo, I decided to focus on the 3rd Labour, this being getting the Ceryneian Hind.

The game mechanics of this game is walk, run, collect to shoot and the cutscenes, where is the main focus of the game, where the player will learn the myth based on this.

The difficulty of this game is based on the enemies, where you need to throw flames to them to dispatch them, and it becomes really difficult to pass if you don't do that, if you collide with one of this, you won't lose HP, because you don't have, because you're a demigod, but you will be thrown back, having a chance for you to fall from the platforms, making a restart of the game.
