Hearts of Iron III lets you play the most engaging conflict in world history, World War 2, on all fronts as any country and through multiple different scenarios. Guide your nation to glory between 1936 and 1948 and wage war, conduct diplomacy and build your industry in the most detailed World War 2 game ever made.
Even though this game is not graphically pleasing as it is mainly menus and such, it is an amazing strategy game that has me playing for hours at a time. Love it!
A great game for fan of strategy
It's great strategy game!!!
This is a great strategy game that allows you to control many aspects of a nation at war. The game seemed a bit daunting and complex to learn at first, but over time it become easier. Some parts of the game have too much micromanaging, like organizing the army and divisions and trying to move them through each individual province.
A great concept, but unfortunately way too much overloaded technical information and details for you to manage (or you can completely surrender the features to the AI) and far too little historical detail/freedom (Chinese Civil War?). Stick to HOI 2.

This is THE Game of WWII: Not Amer-centric, realistic, tad broken ( :D that's courtesy of Paradox, and as always, they've made an initially broken game), and even has a scenario for a victorious Germany! Instawin!
