Hey everyone,
I know it's been a while since I posted the last article, but I really don't have much time for this game at the moment because these are my last two years at school before I'll (hopefully) pass the so called "Abitur"(Wikipedia link for you ;) ) and that's an pretty intense phase.
Anyway, I did work on the game a bit, and I'm going to give you a short overview on what has been done:
I. The HUD
I actually finished the health, stamina, hunger and thirst systems and worked on a nice graphical representation for all of them. The result is quite good I'd say:
I had a hard time getting the circle shaped health and stamina bars to decrease, but in the end it turned out well:
(Btw the graphs of the bars and the circles look like this :D :
II. More props!
Since I want a bit od variety in the game I began working on a desert arena, which requires certain props. I actually didn't make these (more a programmer than a modeler), but they looked nice so I decided to buy the package (there was a lot more content in it but I didn't have time to set it up yet...):
First of all an old well:
Then I have set up three cacti:
and last but not least some shrubbery:
I have no idea why, but the pictures are scaled down a lot, the resolution is a lot better ingame.
So, that's it for today, as I said only a really short post to let you guys know I'm still working on this.
Please comment, as these comments are my only reward at the moment (didn't get much feedback on the last posts, which demotivated me a bit...).
Hope you enjoyed it,
Tobias
Still working on the demo, I added a lot of details to the training area in which you can prepare yourself for the arena.
I spent the week working on the training area and wanted to share the progress.
After I finally had enough of waiting for the our Level Designer to start working on the training area, I decided to make one by myself. So far it looks...
The last weeks I was busy implementing a better Inventory, testing some foliage and rebuilding our website.
A set of 7 Wallpapers concerning El Grande Games an one bonus for the Happy Games! You can use them to spread the word about our company ;)

guessing this is dead then.
Not yet, I just need more time for school atm.
its not going anywhere though...its just the training the area, over and over again
Yikes :o
Well I'm sorry that I'm working alone with a 0$ bugdet while trying to get some decent grades at school. It's the training area over and over again because I simply need a base to build sth. upon, which is why I'm always trying to improve the stuff I've already got. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to develop a game, but since I'm alone I have to take baby steps to actually get something done (I've got like an hour per week to work on this game at max...).
I hope you will follow the game even though there hasn't been much progress lately, and like to thank you for sharing your honest opinion.
I won't
Where can I download / buy this game?? It looks awesome
Thank you very much, but it isn't ready yet. The screenshots shown in the news are highly WIP, and I'm currently working on the base mechanics needed, butI'll try to get a demo ready as fast as possible ;).
is this f2p?
No, this won't be f2p. We thought about 15$ - 19$, however, there will be a free training room demo.
