There are dark places in the world inhabited by evil denizens. Places filled with danger and foreboding where no ordinary man would dare to journey. However, there are a few who are willing to risk death in the name of good, in the name of justice, in the name of.. valuable loot! Hack, Slash, Loot(HSL) is a single-player turn-based dungeon crawler for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. Take control of a lone hero and explore sprawling dungeons, fight dangerous monsters, and most importantly, plunder valuable treasures. HSL features thousands of items, monsters, and dungeon features, and with a new dungeon created every game you can be sure that no two plays will ever be the same. Boasting easy to master controls you'll be adventuring in no time, but there is still enough depth to challenge the most hardened of adventurers.

This is fantastic, I love the sound effects and the graphics, the feel is definitely suggestive of SNES and that's never a bad thing, ever. The gameplay is both simple yet engaging, I love the turn-based combat when enemies are around and the fluid movement when no hostiles are present. I haven't been able to give this game much time yet (I tried the Elf Archer first) but I'll be back when I have more experience. If I can I'll try to give criticism, if it would help you in your development process. But judging on what I see so far there isn't anything that is at all a 'turn-off' or flaw, except maybe that I can't save, (or did I miss the save button?) No matter. Keep it up and congratulations on the release of the Beta.

Thanks. There's no save functionality in the beta version, but the game will auto-save on exit in the final version.

It would be nice to have a 64bit binary for Linux too.

Love this game! Spent a lot of time playing this haha.

One criticism is, there is a little delayed crack or snap at the end of the walk sound, which gets annoying.
