Guild Commander is a game I've wanted to play, but because no one else made it, I had to.

Guild Commander is a resource management game where you lead your guild to victory by removing calamities and ultimately defeating the Necro Lord. It's all about charging up your guild members' stats and then deploying them to improve the security of provinces in your world.

You can see more of what the game is about and how the gameplay works in this video.

I have a playable demo that accurately reflects what the game will look and feel like when it's released.

Guild Commander Demo v1.2

It's currently going through Greenlight so if you find Guild Commander interesting then please do vote positively for it on Greenlight.

If you're a new indie dev and you're considering putting your game through Greenlight then perhaps my article might be of some use to you.

I did learn a thing or two after it took over a year for my “software” title to get greenlit, but I still have a lot more to learn.

Hello. Not sure if the project pages will remain active here, but I prefer this site more than Steam's pages. Also, I'm a little curious (and hopeful) if we will be getting an updated demo any time soon. On a laptop at 1366x768 screen size, the HUD elements feel "crowded". I'm hoping more recent advances than the 1.2 Demo have improved scene visibility somewhat.

Hello, actually the game is on Steam now but it's only average or below average when it comes to being fun. I've gotten a lot of feedback and I've realised that I took on something much bigger than I could handle alone. I also learnt that I really needed to focus on fun gameplay more than anything else, and I'll be utilising what I've learnt in my current in development game Weekend Drive.

But, this doesn't mean that you are leaving Guild Commander behind for a while, is it?

Hello. Yup each room has its own quality slider, just click on the room (important for hard mode). There's also the universal slider which most players would rather use.

I can confirm that is coming to Steam, because it's greenlit, and most likely in Febrary 2015! It will most likely be around or under $10.
