Grimore is a linear style first person medieval/fantasy game with some classic FPS elements, in which the player must defend Humanity from the lords of chaos. In this game specifically you will face the endless hordes of the frostborne and eventually face the lord of Deceit.

What's new?

Over the past few weeks we've been working hard on developing a more realistic and visually appealing form of game play. As a result, we've added several weather conditions that should enhance the game play! Here are a few new things we've added:

  • A light snowfall
  • Heavy snowfall
  • Blizzard
  • Ice field
  • Ice mist
  • Fire fog
  • Fire mist
  • Meteor shower
  • Volcanic eruption
  • Heavy rain
  • Rain Storm/Lightning storm
  • Gale
  • Dark mist
  • Mud eruptions

And that concludes what we've added to enhance the visual aspect of our game!

Here's an example of our new Blizzard system;

For a dear friend of ours;

We'd also like to point out a game under development by a friend of ours. It's called Lord of Decay and is currently being developed by Sandbox D7, a very nice group of some great people. If you're interested in a fantasy RPG where you get to command an army of the undead and be the bad guy for once, you should definitely check them out! Here's an example video of their game;

Any comments and ideas are GREATLY appreciated and encouraged! We want what YOU want! We look forward to the next update we can provide all of you with! Thank you for you support :)

Congrats on another beautiful environment and the dynamic weather looks great.
Really looks like this world can be beautiful and dangerous.

Will the weather also have dynamic effects e.g. increase freezing in a blizzard, take damage in a meteor storm?

I'm excited to see the next build!

Yes, the weather system is set to where it detects whether you're inside a blizzard and, if so, it increases the rate at which you take frost damage. Also, the meteors will not only damage you upon impact, but they also cause a burning affect for a set amount of time :)
