Gnome mountain is a real time strategy game where you build an under ground colony for a small group of gnomes. You have no direct control over your gnomes who will have their own AI personalities and needs. While you are unable to directly control their actions, you can place down requests for buildings, tunnels, traps etc. Your gnomes will do their best to make your requests happen if they are kept healthy and happy.

I've left this project on the sideline for over 2 years now, even though 2 years ago the game was quite far along in development. I've finally gotten back to a place in my life where I can spend a year to finish this game and release it and so I thought this would be an appropriate day to also post a game play video.
The video is quite basic and a lot of things in the game are still missing animations but it shows some of the AI mechanics and a basic living settlement.
New artwork and screen shots showing farm plots and some of the types of crops you can grow in the game.
For all those wondering how far along in development Gnome Mountain is right now, here is an in depth explanation...

Looks Insanely Fun Tracking :)
O.o your making some serious progress! Keep up the good work! Also a little advice they usually won't put your news post on the front page unless you have media up. I would suggest posting media of your game in your news post so you can get more coverage.
Thanks for the advice, I'll start including new screen shots or pieces of art in my news posts =)
Hmm looks interesting. A question though. Will it be 3d or will it be restricted to just moving up down left and right?
At the moment it's 2 dimensional movement.
I just posted a new screenshot of the cave generator if anybody is interested, the caves will eventually be home to various enemies and treasures.
