In Gloom you take the role of an old knight from a kingdom long gone. Something has drawn you to an ancient forgotten forest that has since long ago been abondened by mankind, taken back by the forces of nature. You must defeat it's dangerous foes and explore it's treacherous enviroment and defeat the forest's dangerous foes. What secrets do these ancient woods hold? There's only one way to find out. The game is a retro adventure platformer inspired by the likes of Shovel Knight and Castlevania, with combat being inspired by the Souls series. You have to dodge powerful enemy attacks while trying to get in some hits of your own.
