Building a game is quite tough especially using a server to connect and play with. i also don't want to beg for money as possible, but i might do it for the sake of the server's capability.

Project Gun Arts was supposed to be a training for me to get used to the game engine and also to networking. as much as possible, I don't want to spend more money for the game's development. but i guess building a game is quite tough especially using a server to connect and play with. i also don't want to beg for money as possible, but i might do it for the sake of the server's capability. as far as i know, LAN networking is almost impossible to unity3d but someone can still inform me if this LAN networking is possible so i can change the game networking immediately.

...Guys, I might need your donations in the future to expand the server's size/capability.
"Why?"
Well, since unity have a special networking solution called "photon", which is easier and efficient way to network a game, i decided to implement it to Project Gun Arts. However, the "photon" free servers has a lot of limitations, including limited player total that can only 100+ max. this is very bad because of server overloads and lags that might occur when the free server is almost loaded.
the purchased photon networking is good, and can allow many players and very efficient that the free version.

"What will happen to the person who donated money if ever you opened a donation?"
of course the game's online game will be good! I'll be glad and more happily develop the game even more good because of your kind donations. the one who donate will have a special requests for the game.

I'm not going to open donations yet because the game is still on very early development stage. i will focus on the sever once i the game is ready to be configured for networking.

thank you guys for taking time to read this article, and pardon me for my poor English.
i hope you share this game to your friends who loves SAO / GGO!
ciao!~

LAN is possible in Unity, and although I don't recommend using Photon, I can donate one of my unused servers for Photon that can hold 500 users currently.
EDIT: Never mind. I just checked my dashboard and they dropped all my applications back to 20
