The entire game is essentially created by one person, Danny Green. He programmed the entire game and engine from scratch. Danny works with a talanted team of artists and art studios around the world and contracts them to create specific assets for the project. The game is being released by a great publisher, Paradox Interactive!

Gettysburg: Armored Warfare is an online Real Time Strategy / Third Person Shooter hybrid putting players in the middle of an alternate version of the American Civil War. The game feature persistent army progression allowing players to customize their army according to their taste and playing style.

Large scale battles, customizable armies, unique gameplay set in against a familiar yet futuristic backdrop are the key elements in this re-creation of the American Civil War.

It's amazing for a one guy effort in terms of graphics but the game just was not ready when it was released and I don't think it has ever reached an acceptable state. Collision detection is just unreliable as hell and that alone already makes it not really playable.

It's glitchy as F***, just be aware of that before you buy.

Buggy as hell, hardly works on a good day, refuses to even start on a bad one. AI is some of the worst I have ever seen.

If this game would have a solid singleplayer experience besides practice mode with bots or AI this would be a definite buy for me.

The concept is really great and it reminds me of World War I warfare which is not as represented in games as other wars. However, it looks great even if I don't play multiplayer games. So please, add some kind of a great singleplayer experience!
