Alpha release date! Thread - Gentrieve 2

Hey all,

Gentrieve 2 should be released next week, August 24th, 2012.

The alpha version should be fully playable, although not all features are implemented or fully polished. Features missing in the alpha version that are planned for later releases include:

• Gamepad/joystick support
• Gameplay recording & playback (for contest & speed-runs)
• Support for importing custom designed levels

I will do my best to maintain backwards compatibility with saved games & worlds throughout alpha & beta releases, but it is likely the format will have to change over time. Once Gentrieve 2 reaches final, file formats should be stable.

I can't wait to try it out, I am sure that I will enjoy it very much! and if the replayability is even a bit like your last game 3079, then I will be spending a lot of time on this game and come with a load of feedback.

Hey phr00t :3 looking forward to your new game!! However... im still one of the few that miss the Added on your 3079 update list...

3079 is in maintenance mode, and everything I wanted to add to that game has been added (and more). I can't stay on that game forever -- I have so many new and exciting things to explore & create!
