GENEI's Apocalypse! is an arcade style third person shooter. It could be classified in the casual games category because of its primary objectives and functions. The main goal of GENEI's Apocalypse! is to keep the zombie population from reaching more than 50.
To accomplish this tall order, a number of tools are at your disposal. One of them being the chain gun. Errr, I should say "two" of them being chain guns. :) You get an impressive amount of ammo and ammo drops in every round. Each round lasts 3 minutes.
You also get damage enhancements, health bonuses and temporary immunity to zombie attacks. All this comes in the form of power ups dropped by killing zombies. For every 100 zombies killed, you get permanent increases in you wielding damage.
The beta version has one level and one weapon. However, all of the mechanics are there for you to enjoy and help us "stir mix taste" the creation so that it comes out nice and palatable!
