Someone dares to try to steal the power of the Shapers and take it for his own. He has committed the ultimate crime: he has captured you, and he will do anything to get you to surrender your secrets.
After my brief time of game play with the first Geneforge game I absolutely loved the concept of creating my own monsters to fight beside me ;however I need to purchase the whole saga to enjoy it from start to finish.
What I can say about is that it's an old school RPG. It is very complex and you can spend hours and hours playing it. I didn't get the chance to finish it. I guess that's why I gave it an 8/10. It lacks a story that will make you want to finish the game.
One of the best RPG series I've ever played! Incredible games
An excellent set of games in the old western RPG style. Probably a good 100-150 hours of gameplay in the set, more if you track down every sidequest. They do play the same though, with only minor differences from game to game. Not a bad thing, but you probably won't be able to play the entire series back to back.
An great value for the price, highly recommended.
The predecessor of the Avernum-Series, if you like those, or old school RPGs in general: Go buy it! ;)
