The skill system allows you to upgrade your abilities in a wide array, from health regeneration to specialized attacks and moves.
Pump "Shield-bearer" and prolong the time you are untouchable by projectiles, or upgrade "Head stomper" and be the scourge of lizards.
Create your unique spec, and use it in synergy with the combat system, the game will reward you by shaping gameplay around that.
While chasing a magic crystal, you are stumbling upon an underworld civilization and scripts of even older origin.
Both of those sources, the underworld mythos, and ancient tablets, are offering different versions of the long-forgotten Genesis story.
It's up to you to decide which version is closer to the truth.
After dealing with some bugs, I've finally turned my focus on visual effects.
I decided to emphasize player contact with the enemy by drawing visual effect animation. Successful hits are now more visible and impactful.
Also, I've added dynamic lights on every projectile and fx. Those now affects both NPC-s and objects in the vicinity.
Overall ambient is now darker, so enemies can be harder to spot depending on their position. I believe this will add depth to the gameplay.
