DEVELOPMENT CEASED DAWT is a multiplayer VR game designed as a love letter to old arcade maze games. Navigate the maze to collect dots. Dots can be consumed to power your special abilities or saved at the team base.

DAWT will be shown for the first time this weekend at GDX in Edmonton, AB.

Things are really starting to come together! I have managed to line up two Oculus Rift DK2 units for this weekend's GDX...

Wait. Crap. Maybe that isn't the greatest news in the world. I don't actually have the multiplayer network code working yet.

Guess I better get cracking!
Essentially what I want to have in place in time for the expo are the following updates:

  • Basic player bases
  • Two different player models
  • 1 on 1 quick match

That should be enough to get some feedback from the show attendees and see what they like and what they don't. I'm really hoping this will be a great way to point this game in the right direction from the start.

If you are in Edmonton on April 25th, be sure to head over to the Game Discovery Exposition (GDX) and see all of the local games.
