Great news everyone! Unreal Engine 4 is now available for everyone. This means that in the coming months Galaxy Heist will be brought from UDK to UE4. On top of that, Indie Game Magazine will be using Galaxy Heist as their front cover game/story for their July edition so I'm going to push hard to make sure we have a lot to show off. My plan is it to make development target the bit of art that is the easiest to make so that we can show off as much as possible, while targeting some essential game play mechanics so that 6 months from now we can start spitting out alpha builds for people to test. That's probably the most exciting news of the month. Other things that have been going on include bringing some new artists on board to do some nice character and scene work.

A lot of other work done this month was writing a business plan for more funding, building a new desktop to run UE4 off of because that engine is a beast, and pushing the social media front to build a customer base. We're almost at 4000 followers on twitter which is pretty big considering I've only been using it for a few months. I'm curious to see how that number will jump once Indie Game Magazine starts promoting us in July.
