When we launched our first teaser back in November, we really thought we were close to release the game: We were actually aiming for the end of December at latest.
The main reason we pushed our release date was the obvious need of small improvements after the Beta feedbacks we had. It concerned a lot of minor things, mostly about helping players to have a better understanding of the game and providing them with more visual feedback.
And because we can (mostly) only work about three hours a week on it, here we are in June, still working on polishing it.
Fortunately our lives don't depend on it and we're happy to actually finish and implement the features we wanted for the Official release. The game is "just" a small puzzle game, however we're trying our best to make a nice and clean version from the get go, instead of patching and improving it after release.
We don't have a release day yet, at this point, EVEN if the game is now completely shippable. We're finishing a few additional features, like trying to get an online scoreboard, which turns to be more challenging on computers than on mobile.
We're still progressing slowly to be Steam Greenlight, and that's a very good thing too.
We also have to prepare the launch trailer as well. We start working on the iOS and Android versions only after the computer one has been released. It will takes us some time to optimize the game and learn how to adapt it to all the different tablets.
See you very soon for more good news!
