FMCs return and full steam ahead!!!
The Burnout:
So basically between spending time with my family and full time work and working on this project I just ended up burning out and running out of energy. This led to me stepping away from the project to recharge my batteries. And now I am back and am also taking some time off work so I can make up for lost time. So it is all full steam ahead here again now and I am looking forward to really moving the project forward since it has been stalled for a while. I would also like to say thanks for peoples patience with the break. :)
Recent work:
I am only just back on to it so there is not to much in the way of new contents, I mostly wanted to explain the break separate to my next news update but there are a couple new thing to talk about. The first is continued work on the main menu's aesthetic and that is the addition of some objects and ground to the fight scene to make it feel a little more finished. The final design for this menu arena is still being worked out so it will likely change a lot but it is a fun start.
The second change is the introduction of the "Information point" object type, this is a technically small change but it provides me with a very valuable tool to show players the city in ways that would other wise be impossible and as they are triggered by the player there will be no annoyance of the game suddenly saying hey look at this! They will also give players information on building names and any other supplementary information that could be handy.
