More early 3D walls
The 3D walls look good. Sorry for the pun, but it gives depth to the game and makes it feel more complete.
Yeah it's surprising how much of a difference they make. A good call by our concept artist on that one...
So is this game using a 3D engine or just a clever use of 2D?
Either way, it's shaping up to be a pretty nice looking game :)
We're actually using Torque. Currently, the walls are 3D but the characters and plan elements are sprites. We'll be doing some tests with both of those elements in full 3D soon - I'll post the results up here.
