We have decided to add modding support for Freeman: Star Edge and we are going to support the community with proper tools and documentation. We will work closely with modders to figure out the best way for modding implementation and we intent to create a great modding community. We have not officially started to implement this feature yet. We will post announcements and open a new forum or a discord channel when we start to work on it.
Technical wise this game is already built with a modding friendly structure. We try to use dynamic reference for resources as much as possible so it will be easily replaced with your own asset.
