Football Drama is a narrative game with choices, that generates cards and power to be used in fast turn-based matches as part of a football championship. In match controls allow to always pick between safe and risky choices, balancing team conditions.
We built Football Drama because we discovered poets, writers and movies depicting football's epic and poetry and we wanted a voice in gaming that would take that same perspective. We built a narrative game because of writing's expressive power; we then integrated a match and championship management game with the narrative so to express aspects of football such as coaching and challenge. So we hope the game will resonate with football lovers but also maybe make non-lovers discover some interesting aspects of football.
