Late 1990s in Handstown is a turbulent time. A cruel militia took over the entire city, ruling over everything with an iron fist. Beneath all the terror and panic, a few daredevils appear, swearing to wipe away the criminals.

Hello fellows, Fernando here.

We are pushing hard aiming to publish a demo of our game as soon as possible. We found some problems with libraries that ceased to work suddenly, models and animations which needed to be redone, Unity playing some pranks on us and some mistakes made because of the mental fatigue from the heavy recent workload.

So, it is with lots of joy that we have work to present! We managed to finish and fully implement three characters for now, and also announce our main character is going to be named Manny, thanks to basco (@420basco) which suggested this name on Twitter (the original tweet cannot be retrieved as their account is private and we do not follow them).

Highlight Horn is the first foe you will find on your journey through Handstown. Their name was courtesy of Bugdy (@bugdy), who suggested us this name in our Name-a-Character contest we are holding on Twitter.

Jock, as you can see by his name, is your average jock. His name, however, is not final, if you have any suggestion, leave it replying to the tweet containing the character you would like to name.

This intimidating figure goes by the name of El Stunka, and serves as the final boss for our vertical slice. His name was courtesy of mykaa (@mykaadev), who suggested it on Twitter.
