Fighting Spirit is a platform fighter at it's heart. Main focus will be competitive multiplayer and on the side single player campaign for solo/co-op will be made. Game is being developed in unity and it will feature rollback netcode (similar to GGPO) so multiplayer should be experienced very well. Core 1v1 battle will include dynamic movement around arena with platforms, edge guarding, complex mechanics for movement, self made combos, tag teams, projectiles etc.

I added 3 basic kicks and did a little bit of progress on rollback netcode!

In the past week i worked a bit on rollback netcode and made some fixes for movement and collision detection.

I also added 3 basic kicks, you can check video here Youtube.com or in a game video tab :)


Plan for next week is to continue working on netcode while adding few more basic attacks (punch on ground, air, while running, while crouching).

Fight input will basically have 2 buttons (similar to smash melee) but in Fighting Spirit one key for kicks, 2nd one for punches. All these attacks will have enhanced versions, combination of them will result in combos (like in street fighter), keep in mind movement is very platformish so everything is very dynamic. There will be some ultra and super moves too :) but it will take some time until then!
