The Thoughtful Bundle from Indie Royale has 5 very clever and very good games for you. We've got Snapshot, Cognition Episode 2: The Wise Monkey, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, Fieldrunners and Snuggle Truck.

All these games are from developers with close ties to Boston, Massachusetts. Next week Boston hosts the PAX East show and Indie Royale will be there supporting local developers with these games!

The first game in The Thoughtful Bundle is Snapshot from Retro Affect. This fantastic platforming adventure game tells the tale of a lone robot lost in an abandoned world. PC Gamer said Snapshot "is a charming, challenging platformer with innovative puzzles and a generous helping of good ideas". Snapshot is available on Windows and Mac from Steam as well as Desura for PC and DRM-Free versions for Windows, Mac & Linux.

Following up, we have the second of the Erica Reed series from Phoenix Online Studios: Cognition Episode 2: The Wise Monkey. This adventure game was only released in January. It follows the first episode which we featured in The Debut Bundle last week. AtomicGamer said "The Wise Monkey offers some good old-fashioned adventure game entertainment and promises more to come." It's available from Desura and DRM-Free on Windows & Mac. We've also got the soundtrack.

Next up is AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity from Dejobaan. This award-winning game is about Base Jumping; the player gets to dive off buildings and perform stunts. GamesRadar said it "is a must for any self-respecting armchair thrill junkie and one of the best indie games of the year". We've got it for Steam on Windows and DRM-Free.

Another great game that will exercise your brain is Fieldrunners from Subatomic Studios. It's an award winning tower defense game with a great visual style. Fieldrunners is available for Steam on Windows and Mac and DRM-Free. We've also got the soundtrack.

Finally we have award winning physics-based driving game Snuggle Truck from Owlchemy Labs. We've got it on Steam on Windows and Mac and DRM-Free with the OST.

Those who pay $8 USD or their currency equivalent during the Thoughtful Bundle will get Bright Primate's Thoughtful full chiptune album: Night Animals. Bright Primate will be appearing in Boston during PAX East. This album is available in MP3 and FLAC format.

We've started to put interviews with some of the developers whose games we've featured in different Indie Royale bundles on our YouTube channel; check in for the latest videos.

You can find more information on The Thoughtful Bundle, including real-time statistics and its current price, on its official website or via its Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages. Grab this bundle now while the price is still low (unless kind purchasers lower the price) so that you'll have hours of brain taxing indie gaming fun to look forward to!

As always, bundle designers seems to not learning history...
3 of presented games WAS in HumbleBundle, Snuggle, Snapshot and Fieldrunners. 2 other is good, but not enough to attract many peoples...

And AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA! was in the Summer of Love Bundle. There are some nice games here, but I don't imagine there are too many people are missing more than 1 or 2 of the games from this bundle. I bought this, but I agree with Toyotame; I love Indie Royale but it would be nice if you guys could keep the repeats down to 1 or maybe 2 per bundle if possible.

BTW, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA was unlocked on Desura for you? Currently its only "invite only" release.

Also, Desura, please
1) Stop autoredeem keys on Desura
2) Make them separate so i can gift out repeating games.

I have it already from Cipher Prime so I didn't try through Desura yet. I'll give it a go. Let's see... it's on my Desura account and I can start a download. I'm on a terrible connection right now so I won't try to finish the download, but doesn't seem locked for me.

If IndieRoyale is out of ideas for promoting unknown interesting games, please just look at Pixel Prospector's Top 100 Picks (http://igf.pixelprospector.com/) for the Indie Games Festival 2013. I see there a ton of good-looking unknown games never mentionend in any bundle.

Just contact the developers, I'm sure they're eager to be included in the Indie Royale. If you insist that they have to be at least at Desura for including the game in the bundle .. well, this is a discussion point with the indie game developer.

Having a second episode of an adventure game series so soon after the first is really silly. Give people a chance to play the first one, particularly as the trailer is so clueless about actual gameplay, preferring to concentrate on cut scenes.

Still, it will doubtless be on another one before the year is out :)

I agree, but after purchasing the first episode of Cognition at IndieGameStand I was really miffed that PO Studios cut up the game into several episodes. So I was sold on bundle though I don't like it.

Take a page from Groupees, their bundles get more awesome with each iteration and the current Wadjet Eye Games bundle is a steal.

Only a steal if you don't already own all the games.

People here complain about a couple repeats from other bundles, yet the bundle you reference is 100% repeats from Indie Royale.

The reality is that bundle producers have to balance enticing long-time bundle purchasers and people who may have never bought a bundle before (either from their company or any bundle company). I think Indie Royale does one of the best jobs of balancing these two competing spirits.

I was surprised to see episode 2 of Cognition so soon as well. I'm just guessing this is to get more Greenlight exposure on Steam. It's a great game but bundle games have a higher chance of being Greenlit.

I bought this bundle mainly for Congnition. What sucks is I was about to buy the Season pass from the IGS deal. But instead I'll just wait and purchase the others as they're released. But since I didn't have the other games it was a good deal for me.

I have to totally agree with the other comments about the games already being available on other bundles. As these indie bundles become more popular it is more likely that people have the games already and the guys who organise your bundle should be more aware of games that have already appeared on other bundles.

Having said that though, I really wish 'Towns' would appear on your bundles again 'cos I missed it last time :)
