Small horror game/experience built with the UDK based on the numerous excerpts and logs from the SCP foundation wiki.

Report RSS Initial Progress

The first of many reports documenting my progress on a UDK based horror game.

I'll hopefully continue to document progress on 'Exposure' and news like this on either a monthly or bi-monthly basis.

To start of with, the SCP wiki provides a monumental array of inspiration and has been a huge help in progressing and forming ideas for a background and story, SCP-203 will be used as basis, although expect certain things to differ from the original log, for example I may incorporate some of my own ideas or use outsourced suggestions, as well as continually using the SCP Wiki for motivation and inspiration.

I'm currently building up an bundle of assets to create a believable and nerve-wracking atmosphere and environment, the initial room I've been using in the preview videos thus far may or may not be used, for now, its being used to showcase props, test game mechanics, sounds and lighting among other things. Theres also a new logo and icon replacing the previous placeholders, let me know what you think!

I'm also searching for a Voice Actor, I want to create a form of self-narration as the character moves across the game environment, it is an un-paid position, but I'll obviously credit you wherever necessary, an ideal candidate would be Male, able to speak English fluently and portray either an American or English accent and in terms of an English accent I'm not expecting stereotyped portrayals either.

In addition to the Voice Actor, I'm always interested in the possibility of building a team with additional members, in a variety of areas, with that said, if your interested in assisting with the project and becoming a member of the team, get in touch with me via my profile.

Thanks for watching, stay tuned.
